Our additional steps to keep you safe

We already pride ourselves on our high cleaning standard here at Riverside Cottage but we also wanted to update you on our additional measures being taken since the outbreak of COVID-19 to ensure we are doing what we can for the safety of you, our guests & our staff.

  • Updated our cleaning checklist
  • Our cleaner’s temperature is taken and recorded before entry to the property.
  • Our cleaner is provided with full PPE including; protective mask, apron & gloves for use whilst in the property & washes hands immediately on arrival.
  • We have installed a dispenser for hand sanitizer by the door for your use.
  • Provide fresh kitchen clothes & sponges for every new guest & antibacterial soap in the kitchen.
  • We open the windows to allow fresh air to circulate the property during the entire cleaning process & ask you leave windows open a few centimetres when you leave.
  • We have changed our guest information pack for a wipeable version.
  • We are making sure all touchable surfaces are cleaned then sanitised for new arrivals using specialist C19 products. ie. door handles, light switches, toilet flush, key lockbox, bins etc.
  • We have removed any household items and day to day essentials that have previously been left to enjoy by other for future guests; foil, kitchen roll & condiments and ask you bring your own.
